Role of Ministers:
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, delegated by the Bishop, assist in the distribution of the Eucharist during the regularly scheduled Masses, as well as taking the Eucharist to hospitals, the sick and shut-ins of the parish.
Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist are an extension of the Christ we adore in the Blessed Sacrament. They help make this powerful Sacrament real to our parishioners, especially to those unable to attend Mass due to their medical condition.
Ministry Meeting Times:
Every second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the chapel. The diocese mandates that training be provided during the year on an on-going basis to anyone who is involved in this ministry.
Ministry Retreats:
Retreats are held each year during Advent and Lent.
